Ann Arbor Wedding couple Rebecca and Peter have known each other for years. After all they grew up attending the same church, but it wasn’t until about 3 years ago that Peter finally asked Rebecca to go on their first date. To his surprise she said, YES! On their first date they went canoeing and Peter actually flipped the canoe, luckily Rebecca wasn’t completely thrown off by the ordeal, and they still made it to dinner afterwards. The rest is obviously history, but much like their first date, Rebecca and Peter were incredibly easy going throughout the entire wedding process.

I was lucky to meet Rebecca and Peter during the holidays this past year. They were both in town celebrating (he was stationed on the East Coast while she was teaching in Puerto Rico) the holidays which made for a tight timeframe to get in their engagement photos in. Thankfully the stars aligned and we were able to do them on New Years Day.

During their engagement session I could tell there was no doubt that these two are madly in love with each other, and having them both in front of the camera was incredibly easy. They are naturals.

For their wedding they choose to get married at Stonebridge Golf Club in Ann Arbor Michigan.  This particular venue has a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site,  in addition to a beautiful dining room space with large open windows overlooking the ceremony site and trees. It is the perfect spot for those looking for an all-in-one location. There is also a cute beach and gazebo at the front of the golf course entrance that you can use for photos as well, so there were lots of backdrop options.
