Couple weekends ago I had the honor of capturing a styled shoot with some extremely talented vendor friends at the Jam Handy in Detroit.

I don’t participate in Styled Shoots very often, but as a photographer they are really nice because unlike the rush of wedding day, this gives me the opportunity to take my time and play a bit. Which I really wanted to play with my new film camera, so this was perfect!

Speaking of film, this has been a completely new journey for me. Sure I shot 35mm film as a child, but 20+ years later, it’s been fun to learn the ins and outs of how to shoot a medium format camera. I can’t wait to incorporate film into my weddings this year.
